If anyone is interested, it looks like Upper Michigan is rolling out the red carpet to bikers this summer. There is a website dedicated to riding in Upper Michigan called U.P. Cruising in case you're interested, Too much snow right now, but I just read where a couple of guys made a run up from Lower Michigan across the Mackinac Bridge on I-75 to Canada.
There's some beautiful roads up there, lots of wilderness and nice views of Lake Superior. Ride up along M-26 to Copper Harbor, up Brockway Mountain, then back down along Hwy 41 is an amazing ride! Just be careful, the roads aren't the greatest and there's loose gravel all over the place.
There's also the Lake Superior Circle Tour - which crosses the northern UP, up into Canada, down through Minnesota then back to MI.

I live in Detroit, i wonder if there is anything going on around here. I know that there are many many motorcyclests that ride for the law to be lifted making it to where we dont have to use helmets. But other than that I dont know much about it.
