Does anyone know what the top speed of the Buell 1125r is? It seems to be a pretty sweet motorcycle that I may purchase at some point so any help would be appreciated.

The Buell 1125r does not have a top speed of 146. I know that for sure, but it does have 146 Horse Power stock. The bike is faster than the firebolt but the bike isnt as fast in a straight race as it would be with dips and turns as compared to a Yamaha R1.

sorry that he hasn't updated the excel spreadsheet, but the 6th gear was used with a 1:1 ratio, instead of the .960:1 ratio that is what 6th gear actually is. read down to radialactive's post where he says the buell techs at laguna seca said it was wind tunnel tested to 170mph. that's pretty fast.

One of the sales people at my buell hd dealer rode the 1125r at a track and said that he was a little over 140 sometimes and it still had more. I'll let you know as soon as I get some miles on my bike if I'm still alive and not in jail!

By the gears and redline, top speed is 172 mph.
I've had mine to 138 and I'm fine with that, unless I ever visit the salt flats.

Ok, Not admitting to speeding here?!?..155mph..and still plenty left. The front end started getting a little light. On another note, does anyone know where I can find some frame sliders for the girl. I keep stalling it leaving stop signs and lost my footing yesterday. (sigh)

The top speed of 1125R is 172 mph? Wow that's great!
Depends on where you go.
Dealership I'm at took the demo 1125R to Bonneville.
158.8 mph avg, 161.something fastest run.
