I am looking to change the brake fluid on my BMW RT motorcycle for the first time. I've done a reasonable amount of research including the Clymer shop manual's ABS system air concerns. To deal with this, I have a vaccuum pump system that I will hook up to the bleeder valve and will subsequently pump out all the old fluid while I am filling my RT with new fluid.
What I would like to know is in regards to the bleeder on the left front caliper. Should I hook up to that bleeder, will all the old fluid flush out of the other caliper on my motorcycle? What is the allen bolt on the other caliper?
I appreciate any help and insight you might have.
