The 1125R is to burn racing slicks for the first time in the SunTrust MOTO-ST Daytona 300. Do you think that the new bike will make a difference for the riders who will be on them? What do you think this will do for the Dave Estok team on their Firebolt in the first round runs?

Honestly, I expect the 1125R to do well...better than expected. And then suffer an unexpected failure late in the race. Not unusual for a new design/concept to engineer it's own failures and pave the way for subsequent fixes under intense stress. We'll have to see.

Well if he doesn't do so hot in the first round, there are still 5 more Buells in the race the following day. It will be interesting to see how the bike does against its own. I am kind of hoping that the older bikes do better, just as I am not in the mood to see everyone on a new bike next year. I was just getting used to seeing the old ones fall apart. Nothing against Buell bikes, but for some reason everyone has had mechanical problems for two straight years now.
