Hello,
I own an 1150RT and due to a very near miss of a large buck in the road, I didn't ride for several months. When I tried to climb back on my horse I realized my battery was dead. I tried to charge it but it didn't take. Off I went to my local dealer where I bought a new gel battery. After installing the battery, which was $120 and several hours work, it started fine. A few days later when I went to ride again, it was dead. Dummy me, I left the key in the park position rather than off and drained the battery again. No problem, I thought, I'll just charge it up using my trickle charger. But, nope it wouldn't charge. I checked the battery charger and it charged another bike just fine. Are these new Gel Batteries One And Done? For $120 bucks you would think you could recharge it after a bonehead move. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
