Ok well I have been riding along time and always believed typically that the more expensive the helmet the better it is, well now I have been working inside motorcycle dealer for many years now and have found that to be quite far from the truth, so I purchased the Vega Summit II because I have wanted a modular helmet for a while and because this helmet was a snow version so, much warmer for sure and I need that since I ride all year rain, snow or shine....well I can say that I now have put a few hundred miles in this Helmet and the fit, finish and quality is top notch....

Oh the real nice thing about this "snow" helmet is that it comes from the factory with a baclava and all that is needed to turn it back to a normal street helmet is a simple shield change, but for right now try as i might all day to get the shield to fog i just could not:up:

I also picked up a new pair of boots a pair that works for me, I ride to work and hate changing from my boots to shoes all the time so these fit the bill perfect, good boots cheap price and function as shoes and road boots very very well and they are just as comfy as my tennis shoes are.

I saw the Vega boots on Ebay before and they look like a good deal, now I know they. I bought 2 pair of Vega goggles for 4 wheeler riding. they also are top notch and comperable to Scott goggles. The helmet looks like a good one too.

Ok now I have been riding in the helmets and boots for a few weeks now and here is my opinion on them:) The boots still rock and i have tortured them as much as possible by wearing them all day at work and riding in the rain and mud with them and still they are just like new but with mud stains, they are warm enough to wear in high teen weather without freezing your feet, thats a big plus:D

The Summit II helmet has now been ridden thru rain, snow and shine and has been a top performer the whole time though i am still getting used to the Modular side of this helmet since its my first...but i love it more than the SHARK or ARAI that i have:D its surely a keeper:D
