I am putting together a charity cycle run on April 19, 2008, 9am-6pm. It will route from Throttle Worx Cycle Gear in Sacramento to Cabela's Outdoors in Verdi, Nevada.

There will raffle sales along the route and a raffle drawing at Cabela's.

All proceeds will benefit Shriners Hospitals of Northern California and Make A Wish Foundation.

Well.... there seems to be a bit more involved in coordinating a run than I thought. The legalities encompass my knowledgeable bounds and must be researched more thoroughly.

For now..... hold off on making plans for this ride. I'll touch base w/ ya'll by late February.:(

Okay..... found a way to make this work......

We'll have a starting point (Throttle Worx, Sacramento) and an ending point (Cabella's, Verdi). NOTHING DESIGNATED IN BETWEEN. THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL, NON-SANCTIONED ride.

No sponsors. No designated event entities. No event name. Just a ride (with charity donations and raffle).

If you want to take a ride on April 19th, consider starting at Throttle Worx and ending at Cabella's. Oh, and while you're at it = there will be donations taken for raffle tickets at Throttle Worx from March 1 to April 19th to benefit Shriner's Hospitals and Make A Wish. Donations for raffle tickets will also be available from 9 am - 6 pm on April 19 at both Throttle Worx and Cabella's. The raffle drawing will be held at Cabella's at 6:15 on April 19. Winners need not be present to win.
