Hello, I was thinking of buying a 2000 Royal Star Venture Limited MM with 4100 miles on it, I was wondering if this is a lot and how many miles do these big cruisers have in them , Thanks

4100? My dad's two-stroke had 30,000 on it before he parked it. I'm looking at an '83 with 4k on it.

That's not very many miles at all. You could do that easy in one nice summer's riding...

Did you really mean to type 4100 miles, or did you mean 41,000? I'm suspecting the latter. I'd say that 4100 miles for a 2000 is fairly low...just barely broken in. While 41,000 might be a bit higher than average (the "average" rider seems to put only 2-4,000 miles a year on their bikes) for a 2000, it's certainly nothing outrageous, particularly for a large touring bike. My '02 Triumph Sprint ST has over 42,000 miles on it. The 1300 cc engine in the Yamaha Venture should easily do over 100K, and with a little care and maintenance could be capable of 150K or more, I'd think.

I have an02 tl1000r suzuki with a little over 18,000 on the clock and they say people get close to 100k on them with the proper maintence so i would have to say that a 2000 with 4100 on it is low and 41000 is high but if it was maintaned properly then i would say it would be fine
