View Full Version : First Paint Job, Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic

I only owned this bike for a few months this year, but while I had it I HAD to repaint it. I hated the stock paint and stickers. I had the compressor and rig, I just needed to get the courage to buy the paint and start spraying. I took the plunge and painted it Toyota Blue, with some graphics I got off eBay.

I looked at your pics. First thing was,, 'did he change fenders? Scroll back up. No. Scroll back down. Original tank look like that? Scroll back up. Yeah. WOW! That job really brought out the lines of that bike! Passing grade from me! FWIW!

Thanks, man! I thought the original paint and graphics just murdered the look of a great bike. And I wanted to show that it doesn't take a lot of fancy artwork to create a nice looking bike.

Looks GREAT. for a first timer i'm impressed and i'm a picky sob. just look at the work that comes out of my shop. i nit pick this SH%! our of the jobs that come out. but i also built my shop on NO advertisement. Just word of mouth for 4 years. not it is time to get the word out. just do a search in Google for GBS Customs.

HOLY CRAP!!!!!! When I painted my VStar I painted it the exact same color and put the exact same graphics from ebay on it!!!!

No, that was two yrs ago. I don't even own the bike anymore.
