The wife ordered a Tourmaster Intake mesh jacket in May from MC Superstore for my birthday in June. It showed "in stock" when ordered then "backordered" a couple of days later. She also ordered some shin guards for my son at the same time. The shin guards were shipped in late July. She finally inquired about the jacket in mid-September, and was told they were in stock, but due to a price increase from the manufacturer she would have to cancel her original order and reorder at the new price. No apolgies, just reorder if you want the jacket. She told them to stuff it. (I had told her all summer to cancel the order, I knew that a shop 25 minutes from here had it in stock, but she's stubborn).
She went on line, found the jacket at the original price from another store and had it in my living room two days later. Fortunately the jacket has a pretty good liner, and combined with the electric vest it should get me through the rest of the season just fine.
In short, Motorcycle "Superstore" isn't so super from our experience.

Interesting. I can't believe they would actually request payment for the higher price! I was about to order something from them and have changed my mind. Thank you for the post.

I just ordered from them this week and they shipped it the next day, I have ordered years before and don't remember a problem.

I've placed a few orders with them and never had any problems. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with them...that certainly wasn't good business, on their part. :( I also recently bought a jacket (Fieldsheer Hydro-Tour) and though I'm extremely pleased with the jacket, it wasn't the one I originally wanted. I attempted to order my original choice and then a couple of alternatives, from several different sites (MS included) and ran into much the same situation (incorrectly displaying "in stock" online). Luckily, I confirmed the status by phone or e-mail, before ordering online and avoided more delay. I finally got it through Moto-X-Outlet and their service was excellent. :)

Just ordered a little something from them the other day. Yesterday, I got the email saying it was out of stock until the middle of August.
If you're going to go through the trouble of writing "In Stock!" on your website, why not update it when it's not in stock?

I ordered a helmet and tank bag from them recently, and I had no problems from them.

what was the company your wife ended up ordering from that completed it without a problem? I've been looking at ordering a jacket from them possibly.

Customer Service should be the number one goal of all suppliers, unfortunately though it is getting harder to find. Hey mistakes happen, but what the company does to make it right is what matters.

Just made an order with MS last week. Most of the stuff was clearance, and it shipped no problem and should be arriving this week.
Sorry to hear about your experience, you might want to give them another shot though.

WOW! Is this an old thread or what?
Anyway, I ordered some stuff yesterday evening 5:35 P.M. and they asked if I wanted to pay the extra shipping for them to get here before Christmas day.
I said no problem, the snow storm is on the East Coast. Well, I got the Tracking early this morning and they will be here tomorrow!
