Hey Guy!
I just got a used 2001 R6. Does anybody know any good mechanic? :confused: I bought michellin tires online I need to get them mounted.

Did you take the tires and bike to a bike shop and they said they wouldn't mount them because they didn't sell them? Been there and that sucks. If you haven't any bike shop should be able to mount them for you.

Ya that is exactly what happened. The Dealer said that because of liability issue they willl not mount the tires for me.

That is total bull****. They are just pissed that you didn't buy the tires from them. I had that happen with a set of 4 wheeler tires. There are some shops that will do it, just call around. If I had a shop and the guy didn't buy the tires from me I would still change them but I would charge extra. Some smaller shops will do it.
You can change them yourself. You'll need to make a bead breaker........

If I were you I would sit down with the yellow pages and call around to other shops. You really should have them balanced also.
