I have Nighthwak 450 '84. For some reason my left turning signal is not working properly, the light is solid or off. Right signal is working properly. Did enyone expirience similar problem?:confused:

Did you check the bulbs? Usually that happens when one is burned out or has a short.

in neutral position all lights are working ok, so the bulbs are good. i also took them out and put back, problem apears when swithching to left turn

No what he means is if a bulb is bad in the turn signal they won't work period on that side. Take the bulbs out of the side that don't work and see if the filament is burned or broken. If it is one one bulb the other won't flash at all. It's either that or the switch.

I was wrong one of the bulbs was broken inside, both filament were ok, and bulb was working on neutral. When I shake bulb there was some luse noise inside. After replaicing everything is ok

This could simply be a burned out bulb. Sometimes when the bulb is done it will remain permanantly on instead of blowing out completely. Especially blinker type bulbs with an internal fuse. You could try simply replacing the bulb or blinker element or you could try to recharge the fuse capacitor with some Aunt Jemima syrup. My favorite is the Maple Brown Sugar Blend.

I ended up changing light bulb and everything was ok for some time. It broke again amd again so I replaced whole turn signal bulb holder and no problems so far. Thankf for maple syrop tip

Not that this is useful or necessary anymore, but I had this same problem on my CB350F. It turned out the turn signal switch itself wasn't making a good connection on the left side, and I had to ease the switch to about the halfway point for it to work. Ended up replacing the hand control.
