yamaha maxim 81,doesn't start?

I do notknow much about bikes to begin with, I have a Yamaha Maxim 81 I had it for two years and it has been running fine but a couple of days ago I could not start it any more, not even the ignition green ligth comes on, The batery is fully charged by the way, nothing happens.
Can anybody give me a HINT?

First try cleanin' the cable connections real well.Next see if any fuses are blown. Then if that don't work you'll need to start checkin' to see if you got juice to the switch or any other point along the way.

You might want to check out your starter brushes too. Mine got worn down to the point where the only thing that happened when I pushed the start button was that the solenoid clicked. When I pulled the starter apart one of the brushes was worn completely down to the wire. I replaced the brushes and it's worked beautifully ever since. My bike's an 80 Maxim by the way. Nice choice in bike! They seem to be pretty popular.
