Hi there, I have an 82 Seca that has been running great up to yesterday, carbs and lines all cleaned, new battery and was starting 3rd try or so for the last week or so. yesterday i drove it up to the carwash and sprayed it down and must have got some water in the air box because the bike wouldn't start after, let the bike sit for a while, tried again...flooded, waited and brought the bike home, sat for a few hrs and still no good, let the bike sit overnight tried thismorning and ended up killing my new battery. Does anyone have any suggestions to try?

Try some new plugs, they are probably all gas fouled.

I just got this thread today which is funny because when i got home last night i put a charge on my battery and fired in new plugs and the old girl started first try, and this morning it started first fire again which it hadn't been doing before. Thanks for the reply.

Not a problem just good to hear it's goin' again. In the future, don't use a high pressure wash like at a car wash for your bike. It ain't good for them. Use low pressure to wash a bike.
