i just got a used honda cb650 1981 and am buying a few parts for it. does anyone know what chain I need for this bike? I am buying a service manual for it but it would be nice to be able to buy everything at once and get a big free shipping discount rather then buy the book + shipping wait then buy the chain plus shipping.
Thanks

Depending on the model suffix a CB650C in that year takes a 530x104 link chain. You should replace the sprockets also as worn sprockets will wreck a new chain. Go with a good one and it will last a longer time than a cheap one. D.I.D or Tsubaki are a good brand.

well the title for the bike dosent specify the exact model. looking around online i can find no real difference between the cb650 and cb650Custom other then about 10 HP, so is there anyway to tell which I have?
do they take different chains?
