need clutch help

I'm replacing the clutch plates on a kx80 1987 is there a certain orientation? and how tight do i screw on the comprecision plate?

It should have instructions on or in the box. Follow them to the letter. Some brands it says to soak them in oil for awhile before installing them and some you don't. Most ones in dirt bikes are not directional. Replace the springs also.

When you go to tighten the pressure plate you'll want to do it in a criss-cross pattern slowly and tighten them to factory specs. I don't have a shop manual for a KX80 so I can't tell how tight but they need to be tight. Don't go to crazy on them because they aren't that big a bolt.
