DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE COOLING SYSTEM ON MY 04 1500 VULCAN? I AM RUNNING HOT, BUT NO LIGHT COMES ON. AND MY FAN COMES ON FOR A VERY SHORT TIME. WHEN I STOP AT A RED LIGHT IT BOILES WATER OUT OF THE OVERFLOW LINE.

There should be a thermal switch that screws either into the radiator or engine block that monitors the water temp (turns on fan and warning lights). It sounds like it has gone bad.

One way to stop that problem is to install a manual switch so when the bike heats up you can turn the fan on manually. Some of this stuff is nice as long as it works but when it quits its just something else to fix.
