The 15th annual Ride to Work day is on July 19th, 2006.

You can visit ridetowork.org for more info.

Nice to have an organization that advocates the use of motorcycles.

Heather,

I thought ride to work day was every day. lol

I just wish I had mine put back together enough to ride it up my alley.

Well I have ridden to work on a bike but my philosophy is more "Ride To Play" than ride to work. I guess it's too easy to be tempted by side trips, short cuts, and shady lanes for me. Also the mad commuter rush, the impatient, rude, and downright dangerous behavior of some aggressive drivers make me want to reserve my motorcycle riding for the quiet hours along deserted country roads.

Steve noticed drivers are more rude on the way home. On the way to work people are apparently in not such a bad mood. But on the way home watch out  .

You can do it the Johnny Cash way...one piece at a time. Good luck to you.

Well I'm down to pretty much rebuild the carbs, get a muffler,a fuel valve that don't leak which I have sitting in a box and put a chain on it and the required registration and insurance :)

Getting those carbs in sync is one of the challanges of the 750-4, but when you get it...a sweeter sound was never heard.

It's my belief that every day is Ride to Work day. Although, this year, my wife took advantage of RTW day to make her first solo ride. To work, obviously.

I hope the event was a success... anything that promotes motorcycle riding is worthwhile.

The bad part is that I think it was also "Kill a biker day" since I had to avoid a lot more cagers than usual that day.
