I was hoping for some advice here. I recently purchased a 1977 KZ 1000. Thing is in great shape and has been running amazingly well until today. I changed the oil and the filter today because I noticed that the oil was looking a little milky. I drove it home from work which is about 3 miles. I decided to go for a ride after dinner and the thing started backfiring about 2 miles intot he ride on both acceleration and deceleration. Also was running really rough on acceleration. Still idles but very rough. Some black exhaust coming from one of the two pipes as well. I checked the plugs and they were black but not wet. I have no idea what this could be, it there anyone out there that can help me?
