Hope you check back SS, The bike you found is a true classic. I well remember when Kawasaki came out with them. Everyone got their butt kicked. What year is your bike? I don't know what the market is for old rice rockets, parts, etc... but more of them are showing up on the show circuit, restored to pristine conditions. In running condition, probably a grand to fifteen hundred... ready to show, probably twenty-five hundred to three. But the price will only go up in the years ahead (assuming our economy doesn't go totally in the crapper).

Hey SS, I'm also new to this board, and seen your post. I have a few triples of my own, and had a good handful in the past. If you want to email me, I can give you a good resource for finding out info on this bike. I cannot post the link until I have posted at least 15 times, (prevents soliciting - probably a good idea)
You can at least break down exactly what your looking at, and what it's supposed to look like. Good luck, and I would be curious as to what you have, these bikes are alot of fun, but can also be very deadly if your not careful.

You're right jkinney about the reason for no webs & links but it's okay on your intro page. The Kaw 350 was a nice triple as was the Triumph Trident. Didn't Kawasaki make a 750 triple? But the 500 made Kawasaki a respected name out on the streets long long ago.

Yeah Kawasaki had a 750 2 stroke triple. They were brutal. Lots of guys have taken the engines off them and used them for hillclimb bikes.

The 500 was an H1, the 750 an H2, both are worth more than their four stroke counterparts of the era. Take a look at ebay or cycle trader, they get a good price if they're in good shape.

The 750 was called the widowmaker for it's tendency to snap the front wheel off the ground and over your head before you even realized what was happening, big power in a not so great frame.

I'm starting to see the old two stroke engines put in dirt tracker style frames for the street, those look great.

Hang on to the H1, it's a loud smoking statement against political correctness.

The bike lists for $1,400 if it is complete. They go up in price fast if they are in good shape. $7,000 for a cherry restored.
