I signed up a while back and was slightly active then stopped coming by after I lost the bookmark.
In the few months I've been riding I've already have has a truck almost kill me by drifting into my turning lane in the middle of a turn. We were side by side for three minutes waiting for the light to change. He had to have known I was there beside him when he decided to switch lanes. I braked and let him take it.
Plenty of people have tried to tailgate me. Those type of people amaze me. One guy was driving so close to me and at every light was stopping as close as he could to me. When I looked back to hopefully make him realize, he stared through me.
Its worse when I have my girlfriend on the back and they do it.
Other than those issues, I've been doing well. On the maintenance side of things (KLR650), I changed my oil and seafoamed the engine. The bike started backfiring if I do not let off the throttle slowly, getting worse as the bike heats up.
I've dropped the bike twice. Once during a practice u-turn and another time in my driveway after trying to do a u-turn and hitting a small hill at a bad angle.
That's my story so far.
