2 weeks of riding, 400 miles. Nearly all daytime city miles, in 90+ heat. This is my first set of gear, so I have no basis for comparison.

Well, they cover my hands. That's about all I can say. I will post pictures later, but these gloves have never had to protect my hands and are already fraying at the seams on index and middle fingers. About half the faux-suede whatever the material is on the grip side of the fingers is worn through already. They vent well, and for that they get 3 stars.

My Joe Rockets, 60 days and they are frayed, the wrist stitching has been repaired 2X and the palms are wearing through $49? Junk if you ask me, have mountain ski gloves that lasted years, just not good for riding. Need a new pair...2 stars

Same thing happened to my Shift Chaos gloves. Wore them daily for about a month, lost one somewhere and didn't even bother looking for it because they had frayed so badly. The leather stitched into the palm always felt like it was balling up on the grips too. They were otherwise quite comfortable and looked great but I will never buy another pair of Shift gloves. Unfortunate because the Shift jacket (Backdraft) and pants (Torque jeans) I have are very, very good products.

I replaced them with the Icon 29er gloves from a local store and they seem to be a much better quality glove in the low end price point, minus any hardened knuckle protection.

edit* The fraying on mine were pretty much the same as yours with the stitching starting to go too, but I threw the other one away.

As of yesterday these gloves have worn through on the index finger of both gloves completely. Lasted about 3 weeks, 500 miles of riding, and never had to protect my hands from asphalt. God forbid if they had!

I ride 150 miles a day, 5 days a week, and a little on Saturday too.
Ive tired a lot of gloves in 40 odd years.
I now stick with Harley gloves. They seem to be the best grade everyday riding gloves.
For which I have several pairs, lights for the summer. Water proof for the fall and spring. and padded for when Im the only bike on the road.
