Got my first bike yesterday. Im 18 and just graduated high school and have been saving up for this bike for a long time. After completing my MSF BRC and some private lessons, I took the plunge and picked up this 2005 honda shadow 600 vlx with 8,000 miles. I bought it from a guy from new hampshire, and as I was handing him the money, my dad pushed my hand away and took out his own stack of money and paid for my bike, He said "Happy Graduation Buddy" this is on me because of how proud you make me. It was a really warm moment that I'll never forget. So far I love the bike, it's so easy to ride, and took no time to get used to! The guy we bought it from had vance and hines pipes put on it, a windshield, saddle bags and a gps hookup mount. It's in superb shape and we got a great deal on it, only paid $2400. All in all I couldn't be more happy with my new bike, and am having a blast on it!

What a deal! Looks great. Watch out for the idiots, they are everywhere. Especially coming out of parking lots. The cagers seem to think they have the right of way.

Congratulations! My dad had a 600VLX when he got back into riding, and we both used it for our road tests. It's a great cruiser for a beginner.

That bike looks sick. I hope you have a loud exhaust because people really suck at driving nowadays.
