I have a 95 Ninja 500 that a bought for $600. Yesterday I made a big mistake and parked it on a incline. Of course it tipped over. Now I have major damage to the right handlebar and back brake lever. Calling around the parts that are needed will be around $200-300. Then with installation even a bit more than that. I just moved and am on the job hunt so I have no income to pay for this right now. Which sucks because I was excited to ride the bike around and beat traffic. Now should I work on selling the bike, save money, and wait until I can afford another one? Or wait until I have the money for parts and stuff and fix mine? I just don't know about spending half the money I paid for the bike to fix it when I've always planned to get another one. I also woudn't want to sell it and be without a bike for a long time. Any advice, tips, or your experiences would be great. Thank you.
