Well for the first time in 20 years of riding I layed my bike down. Stupid A**hole cut off the guy in front of me and had to emergency stop. The road was a bit wet and there was some oil on it. I'm frustrated that I damaged my 08 VStar. All damage is cosmetic and I walked away with just a sore shoulder but still hate the fact I damaged my bike :(

No the guy did not stop. There were a few people on the sidewalk who came to help me which i greatly appreciated as my leg was pinned under the bike. The Front fender is scratched my windshield is scratched front right signal lens broken and my pipes are scratched. arrrrghhhhh!!!!!!! Was wearing my Leather Jacket armored gloves full face helmet and Canadian Army Combat boots so no major injuries just sore. now have to figure out how to fix the front fender scratch so it dosent rust.

Well, you know what they say: "There are only two types of riders: The ones that fell and the ones that are going to fall". So, congratulations that it took you 20 years and that you are fine! You have now fulfilled the prediction so, you shouldn't fall any more.

Just kidding but, seriously, 20 years without falling?! I got my first bike 30 years ago and it took me 8 months...

I feel your pain Sammar. Had something similat happen in a parking lot. Got cut off, ended up highsiding. Tweaked the forks and handlebar. Fortunately, I was unhurt.

I am glad to hear that you was not seriously hurt, and as T and Ducky say, you and your bike will both be fine.
