Right cylinder firing but the left is not!

Here's the issue. Yesterday the bike was running great, got great exceleration for a 1980 honda twinstar CM200T. Today is another story. The right cylinder is firing and running the bike, but the left side is not. I ran the bike idling for about 20mins and you could smell gas fumes from the left side exhaust. I pull the plug and it is indeed getting spark. The spark plug is wet with fuel though. Any ideas? The only thing that has changed recently is that my landlord has gotten the sprinklers fixed and the bike got a little wet last night. Could this be a water in the fuel issue even though the left side is firing perfectly?

Got it! The spark plug had gone bad! Changed it out and it worked on first crank! Smoked a little from the built up gas in the cylinder, but ran great!
