Yeah I'm back, your favorite whiner.
Got a little bit of money here and there from family members, not a lot, but enough to buy some goodies for myself. So I ordered a rebuild kit for the Dana 300 transfer case sitting in a box that's going to go in my Jeep someday, and a pair of K&Ns and a jet kit for the Marauder. Oh and hubby ordered a gallon of bedliner stuff to do the interior of my Jeep with since it has no carpet or anything in it :)
I have a feeling the bike is going to get its work done first! As much as I hate digging those carbs out of the frame, hopefully this time is the LAST time I have to mess with it. (there's some optimism for ya.) When it warms up a bit I can get my new tank painted and then she will be pretty again. And I am going to have my tattoo artist pinstripe the tank & fenders to match the pinstripes he tattooed on my back :)
The Jeep, well ... I am about 1/3 of the way through collecting all the parts necessary for my next big project, which is unfortunately the kind of project where you have to do a bunch of stuff all at once--not the kind of thing where you can do one little bit, and then the next bit the next time you have time and/or money. No, this has to be all at once. so it will probably be 2012 before she's done :(
