I am in need some new leather pants and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Of course the men have several different ones. Armor in the knees, zippered legs and not low rise. I can't find any at all and it's driving me nuts! I asked Iron Pony and they don't have any with the zipper on the legs.

I know that this is a for ladys only place so I apologize for the intrusion, but this is information that my wife could use. What style of pants are you looking at. She is constantly on the hunt for better riding gear.

What I want is leather pants with full length zippered legs and armor in the knees. I can either the zipper or the armor but not both in a ladies pant.

So you are looking for an overpant that you can zip off?

Sounded great until I read
MSRP US $400.00 - US $410.00 per size and/or color
Just can't do that right now, but thanks for putting up. Maybe I'll keep my eye out for some used

Nope, still can't find any except for the Harley pants. I think I may just try a belt around the pants I have now and maybe that will close up the gap in the back that is letting the air in

Same problem. I am just looking for some good textile pants right now, with armor in them.

I have some Fieldsheer Mercury pants, they were good in the summer with shorts. I'll let you know how they do in cooler weather.

It was about 38-39 with the wind chill this morning and drizzling. Just a dreary morning. Pants did fine, even with the liner out I was fine with them. They are a bit short. Their size chart says it is supposed to be 31.5 inseam but it is 30". Other than that they are some good pants for cold or bad weather. I would imagine in a hard rain my ankles would get wet but my feet would get wet anyway so new socks would be a must:)
Never did find any leather pants that I like and the zipper busted on my other pair:mad:

Now you will have to let us know how they are quality and fit wise. My wife has not gotten them yet, still shopping.

Hopefully I'll get them soon. I normally wear an 8 and a 10 for overpants but Harley seems to run small so I had to order a 12. I'll put up some pics when I get them

Got the pants in today. They are very soft leather, they feel great and look great. They are just too big for me ...sigh. If I was a size bigger they would fit great. I had asked about the sizing, they are a 12, and Harley size chart says that size should fit me. The zipper on the sides is nice but still won't let me get them on or off with my boots on. Think I'll be sticking with my chaps and my other leather pants. If ya'll know someone who is a size 10 I can sell these for pretty cheap. I also bought a Tourmaster Magnum leather jacket XL...too big. Tags still on the jacket too. The leather is real nice on the jacket and thick with a liner. I can sell that one pretty cheap too. I'm done buying gear until I can walk into a place and try this stuff on. It's too expensive to have to keep paying for shipping back and forth. I keep tossing around the idea of having a gear shop here with a lot of ladies gear!!
