SEARCH Syntax

Are there any instructions for creating SEARCH parameters? For example, if I wanted to SEARCH threads that contained the three words turn signal light strung together , how would this be constructed?

If you wanted to have a search include all of those words, use a quote in front of them like this:

"turn signal light

[Custom85VT]

Doesn't work that way Dods. I already tested it in full quotes and it still returns individual words as well. Might check the controls to see if all search options are turned on (in "advanced search") but I don't think vBulletin has an "exact phrase" option. (which is what is needed)

The story behind the story is that I was looking for any references to fuel strip 'cause the one in my BMW R1200RT's fuel tank just died on me. I thought maybe someone here could offer advice on this particular issue.
