5,on a used Honda Z50R,started racing motocross at 8,continued until 28 when an on the job injury left me at high risk for worse (I'd broken my neck in 2 places on the job,so no more moto,LOL ). Had a few dual sports and a couple road bikes over the years, but spent the last 10 years not riding until this month (took a '02 Shadow VLX600 on trade for a vehicle I was selling)

First touched a motorcycle last year, so 24. Hopefully I find a few people to ride with locally to keep the addiction going!

I've got a checkered past..

Mike 1.0 rode minibikes and dirt bikes when I was 11-15, mopeds 15-17, a 1976 Honda 400 from 18-20 then I took a short break from riding until I turned 50 last year. :-)

Mike 2.0 relaunched on a Yamaha V-star 650, which I still have, and then about a year later I bought my Victory Vision which I believe may just be my forever bike. This could change but at least right now if I had to replace it I'd be shopping for another one just like it.

Age 4... on a horse.

Motorized two wheeler... around 12 because the neighbor had an old Triumph T3 (that thing was a monster to us then!).

About age 10, my brother taught me to ride his Kawasaki. I could barely stand the bike up on my own, and couldn't touch the ground once on it. For about a month or two after learning how to start and ride it, I'd sneak that bike out of the garage every day after school and ride around the neighborhood. To this day, I don't think my brother or my parents are aware of that...and I'm very lucky to be alive to tell this story, LOL! I loved riding, but didn't ride again until my mid-40s, when I bought myself and my boys dirt bikes. In February this year, I bought myself a 650 VStar before I even took the MST course. "Failing" the course never even crossed my mind and, thankfully, I passed. Looking forward to many years of riding!

I learned to ride @ 13. But seriously started to ride a motorcycle 3 years ago. Now I am 45 and ride few times a week almost all year around. So far I rode solo all these years, but hope to find some company in the future. I am from NYC.

Started in 1969 at 11, little trail 50, then a couple years later went to a "Big" bike, a 125 Hodaka superrat.
