A warm Dutch HELLO

Hello to y'all !

I'm RP from The Netherlands and have been visiting this community for about a year now. Time to register finally.

I ride since 1996 and have built up more than adequate riding skills to keep alive. I currently own a 2015 Honda NC750X DCT which I bought new in 2016 after I got sick and was diagnosed with RA and lungfibrosis. This condition made it impossible for me to operate the Yamaha FJR1300A safely and that was the only reason why I had to swap to a lighter, easier to handle bike. The Honda with its (perfect) DCT and extremely low center of gravity, made it possible again to keep involved actively to the motorcyclst communities. Take a look in my photo album for my former and current rides.

I have no paid job but do a lot of voluntary service activities: sharing knowledge in road safety, riding experience, GPS routing techniques and ICT related stuff (like building and maintaining my MC's website).

Besides riding I enjoy BBQ, sweet deserts, liquorice and quality spirits like whisky (e.g. McCallen, Jack Daniels Gentlemen Jack, Jameson RedBreast, Aberlour A'Bunadh etc...) and port (just one favorite: Graham's Six Grapes Reserve).

I hope here I can tribute and help others.

Anyone that likes "liquorice" has got to be okay. Right? But sorry to read about the medical condition. The need for knees in the breeze is hard to overcome isn't it. Couldn't keep me off a motorcycle even after nearly dying on one. Got to feed the need !!!
