Your thumb drive is USB, correct MONI? I've never seen a female port for USB on a phone but if you have one or a connector that is one then it should work. But I've just never seen such an animal. Might exist but I've never seen one. Do you see, I've never seen one. Is it clear yet? Having fun MONI. I just don't know if it's possible. But with technology today, what couldn't be done yesterday can today. Is there another kind of thumb-drive that isn't USB? Might be but again I haven't seen it. If your thumb-drive will plug into your phone it should work. Is that enough words to say I don't know?

A thumb drive won't directly plug into anything without a USB interface. There may be an adapter that will work, but I'm not very familiar with Apple products.

They have an app for Android. I'm not sure if there is an Apple version. I'll check.

You would need a double female plug. Your charger cable is also a USB connection. With a double female adapter you could plug the USB in one end and the charger cable in the other. Now I don't know if such a thing exists.

And the answer is Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

For a iPhone 6 it looks like it's possible.

You got it though Critter. That double female USB will get the job done.

Did I not update my email in my profile? I was sure I had, but I haven't received an email for new password.
I had to start a new profile just to post here, soooo I'm wondering if I can be sent an email to continue my old profile? (Stainlesstehle) With new email of course?

Send a PM to me with your old email address and the new email address you would like to change it to and I'll change the email address for you. You should be able to request a password reset with that.

See what I mean now about a new account actually being easier than a forced password change. Here's a key for those still fighting this. Don't assume the retained password that is so nicely displayed for you but starred out is the correct password. Read closely and put the correct password in. Or you'll be going in circles and not understand why you keep getting failures.

A lot of people left, including all but one moderator. I was snookered into moderator duty there afterwards, lo and behold the moderator features also don't work...thus allowing the nuts to run the nut house.

On another note, one member did post something about adding more features and upgrading may not be a good idea because of a loss of membership. I have to agree, that does happen in some cases. So I retract my thoughts on that idea. But, what if adding a new skin or something? Just something new giving members a choice what skin they want to use? Don't tell me its not possible because I know better.

The black skin is OK but what if someone edited the buttons, logo, and such to make it look better? Why have black with blue buttons?

Maybe adding a few skins would be nice. But it just my opinion.
I posted this after the post you mentioned Shadow Shack.

A member did post something similar and in some cases that happens as you have mentioned which is why I retracted my post.

I agree! Skins though are not new features and such. I was thinking copying the black skin that is used now and adding a few skins of the same that are different colors. So, if someone say wanted to change it too blue or something they could do it. If the skin is copied and new images and a little bit of color coding is done it would not change the layout of the site just change the color.

EDIT: All while keeping the black skin of course.

I override some colors using html tags and USER Styles. There are some already written for some sites and a bunch for Facebook.

Remember, that screen shot of mine are skins and themes using html tags controlling what I see on all sites. I use something from "userstyles.org". Not all sites have skins or themes but some do and then there are global themes. It's a global theme that gets me what you saw in the screen shot. It's not a perfect world though and some things really get trashed.

So there are a few sites where I must turn it off to even see what's there. Simply because of conflicts with html tags. If all sites added their own it would be better but that isn't the case. I have to do it because black on white is nearly impossible for me to see. Another thing that admins and owners of sites fail to realize. Not everyone has perfect vision but that what they assume.

Yep. That's this sites standard skin. Mine looks a lot different doesn't it? These sites could be doing this kind of thing but don't. They are more interested in selling advertising. I get that. That's why I opt to control what I see.

I was wondering why I could not log in for a week. After so may log-in failures I was about to give up. I knew I didn't change my password so I'm like hummmm? I finally got in but what drama.

How can I change my password to something I can remember. I'm using the current password assigned by administrator.

This has been asked before but now that you've forced a password change, maybe you can make this suggestion work. Free up the unused userid's or account names. Won't affect me but there are some that would like that.

Some users are locked out of their accounts right now, If you are unable to get your password resets properly sorted out due to old emails on your account still after the notice was sent out, we ask that you go down to the contact us area, and with the subject line of "password reset" add the following contents for me:

- Account Name
- Email On the account
- Email You need it changed to if need be

add all this, then hit send, and someone on our team will answer that email and fix your account up no problem.

You can do the same and send us a PM privately to have it manually changed, but due to the influx and us tackling a lot of issues, this would be a slower way of getting it reset. we recommend you use the contact us form to get it resolved if you can. If that does fail though and you have waited too long, send us a PM and we will Manually reset it. Just make sure you supply the information above for a quicker fix.

Also, If you do have the right email on your account, I would ask you to please check your spam/junk folders as sometimes with certain email providers, it tends to land in there.

We are also looking into a full clean up as well in this area after the dust settles a bit. thanks for bringing this up though.

If you all need anything else, let me know.

Hi mo admin,

I am not sure whether I got it right. Am a newbie and have not really logged in that much but i received an email two days ago from vertical scope saying that their database was compromised last June 13, 2016.

I read through the thread and didn't notice any mention of this breach. Am just a bit worried.

Thanks!

I guess that's the whole reason why they have this password and security update. Notice that this thread is started on 6/14? Also you can find more info on the top link at the main page (yeah, that one that looks like ad)

I saw that "Ad" and thought it was suspicious. Didn't dare click it.

I am now concerned about the data breach and what other sites were affected.

I tried googling already but didn't find any wherein the affected forums were indicated. Hope someone here can give me a link or leads.

Appreciate it.
