Victory introduces a new model for 2013

Victory Motorcycles introduced a new model to it's line up today. The 2013 Boardwalk is the latest cruiser from the US manufacturer.

The Boardwalk uses Victory's 106 cubic inch (1737 cc) 50-degree V-twin engine. Like the rest of the Victory line up, it uses self-adjusting cam chains and hydraulic lifters to turn the overhead cams and has a belt-driven final drive.

The Boardwalk is more comfortable to ride than the Judge, another new model debuted earlier this year. Wide, beach-cruiser handlebars, wraparound fenders, and laced wheels with whitewall tires define the styling of the Boardwalk.

The suspension receives high marks for being steady and reliable. The rear shock pre-load adjustment is located under bodywork and other bits, which makes it difficult to adjust if needed. The rear shocks are also available in a one-inch longer version for those who may be carrying more weight on the motorcycle.

Saddlebags, a cushier seat, and a windshield are available options that can be installed on the Boardwalk.

The Boardwalk is available in either black or white. The black model retails for $15,499 and the white paint is $400 extra.

I like the Bike, and I am partial to white.
I wonder if they are going to come out a NEW bike. It wouls be interesting to see them come out with a competitor for the Sportster.

Of the two, I like the white better as well.

Victory seems to stick with having a single power train for each model year and hasn't been interested in the smaller motorcycle market so far. I'm sure it keeps their costs down having a single production line for their engines and sharing main parts across models.

If the demand becomes high enough, they may start looking to make smaller machines.

I've never really noticed a bike looking better worse just because of color but I think the white looks cruddy on this bike and I like white. Go figure!

I am not opposed to having them cram that 106 into a much smaller / lighter frame. That would definitely out Sport the Sportsters.

I like both colors because i can see the white one with black tires and rims, black handle bars, headlight and pipes. The black one more blacked out too, yes I am anti-chrome. But I would for sure hack down both fenders, too long for me.

I love it white or black, granted I am a little biased.
